Project:

Maxxon Dealer:
Skold Construction Services, Des
Moines, IA
Scope:
Previously, a vinyl tile adhesive failure occurred due to high water vapor
emissions. To correct the problem, Skold Construction installed
4500 sf of Maxxon DPM, then poured Level-Right FS-10 to provide a smooth,
level surface for installation of the new vinyl.
|

Moisture moving through the concrete was causing tile adhesive to
fail.

DPM and
Level-Right FS-10 installation was completed on a Thursday.
Vinyl floor covering was installed the following Monday. This
allowed the school district to address their moisture issues with
a minimum of loss of room usage.

Mixing Maxxon DPM

Material is spread evenly with a broom, at 200 sf per
kit.

Sand is broadcasted onto the fresh DPM to prepare the
surface for Level-Right FS-10.
