A New Orleans landmark,
the 95-year-old Audubon Building at 921 Canal Street, is getting
a new life as a 201-room Hilton Hotel in the historic French Quarter.
Some of the credit for the renovation goes to Maxxon dealer Gypsum
Subfloors. The 9-story building (over 85,000 square feet)
was gutted and required a new, smooth surface for installation
of floor goods. The project required 2" of Dura-Cap poured
over the pitted concrete floors, trenches and old quarry tile.
